The electric Jeep Wagoneer S debuted in a fully loaded Launch Edition priced at $71,995, but Jeep has jettisoned a few features to bring the price down for its next trim.

The Wagoneer S Limited debuting at the Chicago Auto Show has a starting price of $66,995 and still comes pretty well-equipped.

One big change comes to the all-wheel-drive powertrain, which is rated at 500 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque compared to the Launch Edition’s 600 hp and 617 lb-ft. However, Jeep will be offering a Propulsion Boost Package software upgrade later this year that bring’s the Launch Edition’s power to the Limited. The price for that has not yet been announced.

The Wagoneer S Launch Edition can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and the Limited should be able do it in less than four seconds.

A few other downgrades include swapping the Launch Edition’s 16-way adjustable front heated and ventilated massaging seats for 10-way heated seats, making the front passenger touchscreen infotainment system screen optional and reducing the power of the McIntosh audio system from 1,200 watts to 920 watts.

Both the Limited and Launch Edition come with a Free2Move 48-amp Level 2 home charger or, if you don’t need that, $600 worth of credits to use at public charging stations.
