Ford performance parts specialist Steeda has unveiled its latest pony car creation.

The Q850 StreetFighter is a Ford Mustang that’s been modified for track performance and tuned on the Nürburgring, where the $325,000 Mustang GTD recently set a lap record for American cars.

It features a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 with a Whipple supercharger that cranks the engine up to 810 hp and 640 lb-ft, but the suspension is its secret weapon.

The Q850 StreetFighter rides on a Steeda-designed G-Track fully adjustable suspension that features Steeda ProAction front coilovers with a ride height collar and camber plate. Out back, there’s a set of ProAction shocks with ride height adjusters.

Steeda also installs sway bars and mounts of its own design, adjustable rear toe links, a bump steer kit, chassis braces and low profile jacking rails.

Lightweight 19-inch wheels wear Nitto NT555 G2 tires and there’s a new front splitter, a functional rear wing and a custom hood vent.

The price for the build starts at $36,995 in addition to the car, which can either have a 10-speed automatic or six-speed manual, the latter updated with a Steeda-Tri Ax short-throw shifter. A three-year/36,000-mile warranty covers the parts.

Steeda also offers dozens of optional upgrades that include a lightweight package, performance brake pads and lines, a carbon fiber steering wheel and six-point seat belts to dial in the vehicle for its owners intended use.
