Now this is a stretch.

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL has been revealed as a larger alternative to the already huge Escalade IQ that began shipping in recent weeks.

The three-row full-size SUV rides on the same wheelbase as the Escalade IQ, but has a four-inch longer tail and a boxier rear roofline to increase cargo space.

“Escalade IQL delivers on the promise of innovative design, paired with the iconic performance achieved from this  EV-specific architecture,” Al Oppenheiser, chief engineer, Escalade IQL. said in a press release. “Building on Cadillac’s theory of isolated precision, Escalade IQL offers an engaging driving experience with a strong connection to the road for those customers looking for a bit more space.”

The third row of seating also gets more leg and headroom, but the Escalade IQL is otherwise largely the same as the Escalade IQ.

That includes a 12.2-cubic-foot E-Trunk under the hood, a 55-inch panoramic digital display on the dashboard, a full glass roof and a dual-motor drivetrain that is rated at 680 hp and 615 lb-ft and can be boosted to 750 hp and 785 lb-ft for short sprints in a special Velocity Max mode.

The Escalade IQL has a 205 kWh battery pack and an estimated driving range of 460 miles between charges. The Escalade IQL is built on an 800-volt platform and can charge at rates up to 350 kW, which is available at some public charging stations. Cadillac says it can recoup 116 miles worth of electricity in 10 minutes. Figure on a half-hour or so to fill the battery from 10-80%.

Cadillac’s hands-free Super Cruise highway driving system is standard along with a Dolby Atmos audio system, while an Executive Second Row package is available that adds tray tables, infotainment system screens, wireless phone charging pads and 14-way adjustable seats with heat, ventilation and massage.

Prices for the Escalade IQL start at $132,695, which is only slightly higher than the $129,990 entry price for the Escalade IQ.
