Jeep’s lineup is scheduled to grow by two models this year and a new report purportedly reveals exactly when the expansion will happen.

Jeep’s parent company Stellantis recently held a private meeting with dealers, but details from the event leaked out in an email.

A screenshot of the message was shared with Sportsnaut and its contents outline upcoming product plans the four American Stellantis brands with several notes on Jeep.

Among them are a 5,000 unit cap on the V8-powered 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, which will likely cost north of $90,000.

More significant from a volume perspective is the introduction of the all-new Cherokee and Recon, the latter of which is a serious off-roader like the Wrangler that is scheduled to launch with an all-electric powertrain. The boxy model features removable doors and roof panels. According to the report, deliveries of the Recon will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Jeep discontinued the last-generation Cherokee in 2023 and hasn’t shown any preview images of the new one, but the report says production is scheduled to begin on October 1, so shipments should start soon after that. Jeep sold a record 239,437 Cherokees in 2018.

It is slated to be built alongside the Compass, Recon and Wagoneer S at the Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico and is expected to be offered as a hybrid with the possibility of plug-in hybrid and electric models added to the lineup later.

Stellantis has not officially confirmed or commented on the email, but has previously indicated that both the Recon and Cherokee are heading to showrooms this year.
