Elon Musk Tells Sean Hannity That Tesla Attackers Are ‘Deranged’ And ‘Bad People’

Tesla is under attack … literally.
The company’s stores and privately owned Teslas have been damaged by vandals around the world in acts of protest against CEO Elon Musk’s political activities.
The incidents have apparently led to drops in both sales and the company’s stock price. The Vancouver International Auto Show has even asked the automaker to pull out of the upcoming event over security fears.
“It’s really come as quite a shock to me that there’s this level of, really, of hatred and violence from the left,” Musk said Tuesday during an interview with a sympathetic Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel.
“I always thought the left, Democrats were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring, and yet they’re burning down cars, they’re firebombing dealerships, they’re firing bullets into dealerships, they/re, you know, smashing up Teslas.
“Tesla is a peaceful company, we’ve never done anything awful, I’ve never done anything awful, I’ve only done productive things, so I think we just have a deranged … there’s some kind of mental illness thing going on here, ’cause this doesn’t make any sense.”
Musk also alleged that the attacks are not all happening organically.
“I think there are larger forces at work, as well, who’s running it? Who’s coordinating it? ‘Cause this is crazy, I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Hannity asked if Musk thinks the backlash is entirely due to his alignment with President Trump and the cost-cutting he has been overseeing with the Department Of Government Efficiency, which is also known as DOGE.
“It turns out, when you take away people’s … the money they’re receiving fraudulently they get upset,” Musk said.
“They basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud and they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping this terrible waste and corruption in the government and I guess they’re bad people, bad people will do bad things.”
