Almost Gone: There Are Fewer Than 20 New Chevrolet Camaros Left

Chevrolet Camaro production ended in December of 2023, but you can still find a new on the lot. It’s not likely you will be able to for much longer.
American Cars And Racing has done a new survey of the major online automobile shopping sites and the number of Camaros available has apparently dropped below 20.
That’s not to say the figure is 100% accurate, but it has been slowing counting down in recent months. Several appear to be dealer demos that are technically new, but have significant mileage on them. According to Cars.com, there are just six V8-powered cars left and 10 of the total are convertibles.

Chevrolet has no plans to replace the Camaro and, with the upcoming price hikes expected to hit the U.S. auto industry in the wake of new 25% tariffs being imposed by the Trump Administration on imported cars and parts, the remaining Camaros will probably get scooped up soon enough.
Hear It: HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY PRONOUNCE CAMARO?
That might also be true for the approximately 1,500 Dodge Challengers and Chargers that are still sitting around. The last-generation cars also went out of production in 2023, but Dodge cranked up production near the end to set dealers up with enough of a supply until the shipments of the electric 2025 Charger Daytona began.

Dodge is also scheduled to begin production of the gas-powered Charger Sixpack this summer, but it is assembled in Canada and will be directly affected by the tariff if the policy doesn’t change before then.
