CARS Tour Race During NASCAR’s All-Star Weekend At North Wilkesboro To Air On FS1

The CARS Tour is getting its turn in the spotlight.
The late model racing series co-owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick will be featured on FS1 during the NASCAR All-Star Weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Friday, May 16.
The 100-lap Late Model Stock race broadcast will feature Earnhardt and Harvick in the booth as the series gets its first exposure on the outlet.
“This is going to be an exciting and entertaining weekend of racing at North Wilkesboro,” Earnhardt said in a news release.
“I’m very proud about how much the series has grown and this is an incredible opportunity for our drivers and teams to showcase themselves. Kevin [Harvick] and I are going to have a lot of fun calling that race from the booth on Friday.”

The CARS Tour features Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model Classes racing across a 14-event schedule on tracks in the southeast. The Friday night race and a Thursday night Pro Late Model race at North Wilkesboro will also be shown on FloSports, which carries the full season.

The NASCAR All-Star race weekend also features a Pit Crew Challenge on Friday night along with a Craftsman Truck Series race on Saturday before the Cup Series All-Star heat races. That’s followed by a Whelen Modified Tour Race on Sunday ahead of the All-Star Open and All-Star Race main event.
