Tesla Cybertruck sales have apparently come to a crashing halt.

Tesla released its first-quarter delivery report on Wednesday and global shipments were down 13% compared to the same period last year amid protests aimed at the company and new competition in the electric vehicle space.

The automaker doesn’t formally break out deliveries by region, so the exact figures for the U.S. market aren’t clear. It also groups its vehicles into two batches, with the Model 3 and Model Y in one and “Other Models” comprising the Model S, Model Y and Cybertruck.

The Model 3/Y deliveries were listed at 323,800 while the Other Models accounted for just 12,881. The latter was 23,640 in the last quarter of 2024 and there were 85,133 deliveries for the full year.

Cox Automotive estimated that 38,965 of the latter were Cybertrucks, but it is not clear if that ratio continued into 2025. A recent recall noticed revealed that 46,096 Cybertrucks were built between November 2023 and February 2025. Tesla reported production of 17,161 Other Models in the first quarter of this year, not all of which were sold.

Even putting the Cybertruck at 50% of the Other Models would mean just over 6,000 were delivered, putting it on track for 24,000 deliveries this year, while the full 12,881 works out to a projected 51,524 Other Models delivered this year.

Wall Street shrugged off the slump as Tesla’s stock increased by more than 5% by the close of trading.
