Land Rovers won’t be heading to sea anytime soon.

Jaguar Land Rover has announced that it is pausing deliveries of its entire lineup to the U.S. as it works through the new import tariffs that went into effect in April.

“The USA is an important market for JLR’s luxury brands,” the automaker told The Wall Street Journal. “As we work to address the new trading terms with our business partners, we are taking some short-term actions including a shipment pause in April, as we develop our mid- to longer-term plans.”

All of Jaguar Land Rover’s models exported to the U.S., which includes the Range Rover lineup, are built in Europe and subject to the new 25% tariff on imported vehicles.

Jaguar is currently in a reboot mode and only manufactures one model, the F-Pace SUV, but Land Rover set a record for U.S. sales in 2024.
