Godzilla V8-Powered Ford Bronco Kicks Off For $250,000

How many monsters can you stuff in one truck?!
Ultra4 racer Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s RTR Vehicles has built what it bills as the first Godzilla V8-powered Ford Bronco.
The Bronco Fun-Runner LT started its life as a Bronco Badlands Sasquatch, but has been upgraded with a trailer full of new off-road equipment and Ford’s Godzilla 7.3-liter V8 crate motor rated at 430 hp and 475 lb-ft.
The engine breathes through a Borla exhaust and sends its power to the wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, beefed up axles and 74 Welds portal axles for increased ground clearance.

The truck rides on FOX Performance Elite remote coilover bypass shocks and 20-inch wheels wrapped in 42-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires. RTR even swapped the standard electric power steering assist for hydraulic system tuned to handle the oversize rubber.

A new long-travel suspension designed by RTR and Triton engineering provides 18 inches of articulation.

Rigid lights, an extra crossmember in the cargo and a package of RTR bumpers and accessories help toughen things up, while a set of four Recaro Cross Sportster ORV seats aim to do their best holding passengers in place during extreme off-roading.

RTR will be showing off the Fun-Runner at the Bronco Stampede off-road event in Moab, Utah, April 16-18. It is just a one-off concept for now, but RTR will gladly build you a Bronco just like it. Pricing for the monstrous creation starts at $249,999 plus the cost of a factory Bronco to get the project started.
