Ram Has Some Big Truck News Coming On June 8 And 25 Announcements Through 2026
Ram is ready to charge. The truck brand’s CEO, Tim Kuniskis, posted on LinkedIn this week that there’s a lot of news on the way.
Kuniskis retired as Ram and Dodge CEO last year, but returned to take over Ram in December as part of a larger shakeup at Stellantis that followed the departure of CEO Carlos Tavares.
“Four months ago, I returned to the Ram brand with a clear mission: to build exciting trucks,” Kuniskis wrote.
“Since then, we have been shaping the next evolution of Ram — a bold new chapter that honors the legacy of the brand while redefining its future. There are 25 product announcements planned within the next 18 months, and it all starts on June 8th. I’m proud to be back, proud be a part of this team, and more determined than ever to show the world…nothing stops Ram.”

Ram has already confirmed that a new US-Built midsize model is on the way for the 2027 model year and it is widely expected to bring V8 engines back to its Ram 1500 lineup.

A leaked report from a dealer meeting in March said that V8 trucks would be in production by the end of the year and that the TRX model will return with more power than its 702 hp predecessor.
Ram is also rumored to be returning to the NASCAR Truck Series in 2026 ahead of Dodge’s return in 2028, but the brands have not commented on the reports.

Ram has delayed the all-electric Ram 1500 REV to focus on the launch of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger plug-in hybrid pickup in the second half of 2025. The Ramcharger is what’s known as an extended-range electric vehicle, because it has a V6 engine that works solely as a generator after the battery has been depleted while the electric motors continue to propel the vehicle.
As for the rest of the announcements, there’s hardly a limit to the amount of configurations and special editions that are possible in the pickup toybox.
