The 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ-V Is A High Performance Electric Compact SUV

Cadillac is expanding its V-Series performance lineup to its smallest electric SUV. The automaker confirming that the recently launched Optiq will be getting an Optiq-V trim in 2026.
Cadillac released two teaser images of the vehicle, but no technical details aside from saying that it has a “unique package prioritizing precision, dynamic suspension and tight steering for an exhilarating driving experience.”
The 2025 Optiq has an all-wheel-drive system rated at 300 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, so whatever the Optiq-V has in store should be more potent than that.
The larger midsize Lyriq, for instance, sees a boost from 515 hp in the mainstream all-wheel-drive model to 615 hp in the Lyriq-V.

Optiq starting prices currently range from $54,390 to $57,090 across three trim levels that have an EPA-rated range of 302 miles per charge and come standard with the Super Cruise hands-free highway driving system.

Along with the Optiq and Lyriq, Cadillac’s electric lineup includes the three-row Vistiq crossover and Escalade IQ SUV along with the $340,000 Celestiq, which is only being built in the hundreds each year.

The V-Series extends to its gas-powered models, with the CT4 V-Series, CT4 V-Series Blackwing, CT5 V-Series, CT5 V-Series Blackwing and Esclade-V all still available. Cadillac also features V-Series branding on its V-Series.R endurance racing car and upcoming Cadillac Formula 1 Team car.
