And then there were four.

The Honda CR-V has joined the Honda Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline with the addition of an rugged TrailSport model to its lineup.

The CR-V was new in 2023 and receives just a few minor updates for 2026 that include a larger nine-inch touchscrees, standard wireless charging and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.

The TrailSport gets the CR-V’s 204 hp all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain, unique front and rear fascia designs and Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires on Shark Gray 18-inch wheels. Ground clearance isn’t increased and remains the same 8.2 inches as the other CR-Vs.

“Our best-selling Honda CR-V is now even more of an industry benchmark with the addition of a rugged new TrailSport model, which has proven to be incredibly popular on our light trucks,” Jessika Laudermilk, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales said in a news releaase. “The combination of rugged design elements and capabilities, incredible on-road dynamics and hybrid powertrain makes the Honda CR-V a more compelling SUV than ever before.”

Pricing hasn’t been announced, but the 2026 CR-V is scheduled to be in dealers sometime this spring.
