First Look: New 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Interior Revealed With Long-Awaited Change

The buttons have been banished! Chevrolet has released the first images of the 2026 Corvette’s redesigned interior, which has several significant updates.
The most prominent change is the removal of the row of climate control buttons that was located on top of a buttress extending from the dashboard between the front seats. The arrangement was one of the most criticized aspects of the otherwise well-liked model.
The buttress has been reconfigured into a grab handle for the passenger and the button functions moved to a smaller row of toggles that’s located beneath the touchscreen display.
That display has been enlarged to 12.7 inches and the 2026 Corvette also gets a larger 14-inch digital instrument cluster and a 6.6-inch touchscreen to the left of it that’s used as an auxiliary control panel.

The pushbutton gear selector remains, but the drive mode selector knob has been replaced by a toggle behind it sandwiched between quick-access buttons for the front and rear cameras. A wireless charging pad has been installed on the center console and the cupholders redesigned without a lid.

The new infotainment system features Google Built-in and is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, while the Performance App has been updated with new features across the lineup.

Production of the 2026 Corvette is expected to begin in August, meaning that the upcoming $174,995 Corvette ZR1 will have the old interior for just one short model year. Chevrolet has also been spotted testing a new Corvette variant that is expected to slot above the ZR1 and be called the Zora, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
