The Ford Maverick And Bronco Sport Just Got Higher Prices

The Ford Maverick is the lowest-priced pickup on sale in the U.S., but it just got a lot closer to number two.
Ford this month raised the base price of the Maverick from $26,995 to $28,145. Adding in the mandatory $1,695 destination fee brings that to $29,840.
The Mexican-made Maverick is one of several Ford models that are now subject to the new 25% tariff on imported vehicles.
The new price inches the Maverick closer to the Alabama-built Hyundai Santa Cruz, which is its only compact pickup competitor and starts at $30,700 including the destination fee.

The Maverick’s price is the same for both the 191 hybrid and 238 hp turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain. The compact pickup was updated for 2025.
The Maverick launched in 2021 as a 2022 model with a base price of $19,995 ($21,490 with destination fee) that made it Ford’s lowest priced model at the time. The price has been adjusted several times since then.

It remains Ford’s lowest priced vehicle behind the Bronco Sport, which is assembled alongside it in Mexico and has also had its starting price increased since earlier this year by $1,000 to $32,590.
Ford is offering some relief to customers, however, through an Employee Pricing For All discount program that runs through July 4, which can deliver a lower price than other incentives in some instances.
UPDATE: Reuters reported that prices on some trims will rise as much as $2,000 and that the Mustang Mach-E, which is also made in Mexico, has also had its prices increased.
