The flag is still flying high at Jeep.

The automaker has been named The Most Patriotic Brand in the annual survey conducted by Brand Keys for the 24th consecutive year. That’s as long as the survey has been conducted.

The Brand Keys consumer research firm surveyed 7,460 consumers, 18 to 65 years of age, for the report, which covered America brands across all industries, not just automakers.

Ford was second on the list and followed by Coca-Cola, Levi Strauss, Apple, Walmart, Disney, Harley Davidson, Amazon and Ralph Lauren.

“A brand that truly resonates the value ‘patriotism,’ taps into a deep well of shared identity, cultural pride,
and collective values that significantly strengthen consumer loyalty and positive brand behavior,” Brand Keys president Robert Passikoff said in a news release.

The top 50 brands — the full list will be released later this year — had an average “patriotism” score of 76%, which was higher than the Presidency (37%), House (25%), Senate (28%) and Supreme Court (44%), while the military branches all scored 100%.

“Brands are seen as unifying and trustworthy,” said Passikoff. “Political entities as divisive, self-serving, and using patriotism as a partisan tool – not a winning strategy. With consumers viewing everything through a political lens, the value of patriotism is more important than ever.”

Ford assembles the most vehicles in the U.S., which make up about 80% of all that it sells in the country, but every Jeep model except for the Compass and new electric Wrangler S is also Made in USA. Perhaps more important to this survey, despite Ford’s continuous efforts to remind everyone that it was instrumental in designing the original “Jeep” that debuted during World War 2, Jeep is the one that builds its successor today and will never let you forget it.
