Toyota’s TRD Pro lineup of pickups and SUVs is about to go blue. The automaker has revealed a new Wave Maker paint color that will be offered on the off-road trims in 2026.

The TRD Pro trucks are currently available only in Ice Cap white, Underground gray, Mudbath brown and Black, so the new color will brighten up the lineup. The TRD Pro’s recent Terra red and Solar Octane orange paint colors were among the recent limited edition colors.

“We had a few years of warm natural hues inspired by traditional landscapes like Terra and Mudbath as signature colors. With Wave Maker, we were inspired by unexplored areas of adventure including extreme territory and even beyond earth,” Benjamin Jimenez, general manager a Toyota’s CALTY design center in Ann Arbor, Mich., said.

“Wave Maker expresses an elemental spirit that evokes images of glacial depths and the thrill of new frontiers.”

Toyota sells TRD Pro versions of the US-built Tundra and Sequioa and imported Tacoma and 4Runner, all of which feature lifted bodies, high performance off-road suspension systems and aggressive all-terrain tires.

The Land Cruiser SUV doesn’t come in a TRD Pro trim as it is positioned as a serious off-roader on its own merits, but never say never.
