Sky High Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss Debuts For $72,095

Who’s the boss? The Chevrolet Silverado EV. Chevy has unveiled the 2026 Silverado EV lineup with the addition of a new lifted Trail Boss model.

The trim appropriately sits at the top of the lineup at a starting price of $72,095 with a standard Extended range battery pack good for 410 miles of driving between charges and $88,695 with a Max range pack rated at 478 miles.

The Trail Boss replaces the street performance RST as the flagship trim and comes with a two-inch lift and 35-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels good for 10 inches of ground clearance, a high clearance front bumper with tow hooks and a 31.6-degree approach angle, plus Trail Boss-specific interior appointments.

The Trail Boss’ all-wheel-drivetrain is rated at 725 hp and 775 lb-ft. It is rated to tow 12,500 poundsĀ and has a payload capacity of 2,100 pounds.

It is available with the Multi-Flex Midgate that opens the rear wall of the cabin to extend the bed and the Silverado EV’s four-wheel steering system with the Sidewider diagonal driving feature, which turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels up to 10 degrees at low speeds.

The 510 hp Work Truck trim returns for $54,895 with a 286-mile Standard battery pack, $68,295 with a 424-mile Extended pack and $76,295 with a 493-mile Max pack. The LT fits in between the WT and the Trail Boss at $62,995 with a 283-mile Standard pack, $71,195 with an 410-mile Extended pack and $91,295 with a 491-mile Max pack, each with differing levels of power and included equipment.

Deliveries of the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV are scheduled to begin this summer.
