If you’re looking for a low mileage, single owner used Tesla Model S, you may want to head to Washington.

President Trump wants to get rid of the Tesla Model S he purchased in March after showcasing the brand’s products at The White House in a show of support for then-advisor Elon Musk.

Trump and Musk had a very public falling out this week over the president’s “Big Beautiful Bill” that is working its way through congress, which Musk has criticized as being “pork-filled.

The war of words escalated as Trump suggested cutting funding to Musk’s SpaceX and Musk alleged that Trump is named in the notorious “Epstein Files.”

Musk also said that he was being shown “ingratitude” and that “without me, Trump would have lost the election,” he said.

The White House on Friday confirmed to The New York Post that Trump is “looking to sell or give away” the car.

Trump put it in The White House pool for his staffers to use, as he is not allowed to drive it himself for security reasons.

The event at The White House was in response to attacks being made against Tesla vehicles and stores in protest of Musk’s political activities, which included supporting Trump’s campaign and establishing the cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency, colloquially known as DOGE.

Trump was reportedly set to discuss the feud with Musk on Friday, but the president told CNN “I’m not even thinking about Elon. He’s got a problem, the poor guy’s got a problem.”

Tesla’s stock value dropped by more than 14% on Thursday, but had recovered more than half of that by 11 a.m. ET.
