You’ll have to look quickly if you want to see this Optiq go by.

Cadillac has unveiled the electric performance 2026 Optiq-V. The latest version of the compact SUV features a 519 hp all-wheel drivetrain rated at 650 lb-ft of torque.

That’s up from 300 hp and 354 lb-ft in the standard Optiq and enough for a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.5 seconds in Velocity Max mode.

The Optiq-V is also the first GM product equipped with the Tesla-designed NACS-type charging plug at the factory. All of Cadillac’s EVs are now compatible with the newest Tesla charging stations, but the other models on sale today need to use a CCS-to-NACS adapter. It will be the reverse situation with the NACS cars if the owner wants to use an non-Tesla or NACS charger.

“Integrating the native NACS port into our vehicle architecture is an important step forward, reflecting our leadership in engineering and our commitment to providing our customers with more charging options,” John Cockburn, OPTIQ-V chief engineer said.

The Optiq-V also gets aerodynamic enhancements that include a rear diffuser, unique 21-inch wheels that can be wrapped in optional summer performance tires from the factory, Brembo brakes and a Competitive Mode for the traction and stability control systems.

There’s an option carbon fiber accent package for the body and carbon fiber trim inside the cabin, which also gets Santorini Blue accents and faux-leather seat upholstery with a quilted pattern. Blue seatbelts and seat back panels are available.

The Optiq-V comes loaded with a 19-speaker AKG Stuido audio system and Cadillac’s hands-free Super Cruise highway driving system, plus a three-year subscription to the service that allows it to operate.

Pricing will start at $68,795 when deliveries begin this fall, while the regular Optiq currently runs from $54,390 to $57,090, depending on the trim.
