See It: 2026 Jeep Cherokee Fully Revealed
Jeep has released new photos of the all-new 2026 Cherokee that reveal its exterior styling in full.
Jeep confirmed the model in May with views of the front and side, but has now added a video and a shot of the compact SUV’s rear.
The Cherokee features a set of tail lights with an old fashioned gas-can inspired design similar to that featured on the Wrangler, Gladiator and discontinued Renegade.
The Cherokee is being built on the same platform as the Jeep Wagoneer S, but features a more upright tailgate for added cargo room and a tall, blunt front end with the brand’s signature seven-slot grille design.

The model depicted in the photos is a Limited trim that shows provisions for the sensors used for various electronic driver aids. Jeep has not yet confirmed any technical details beyond the fact that it will be available with an optional hybrid powertrain.

“The all-new Jeep Cherokee headlines our efforts to deliver more product, innovation, choice and standard content to customers than ever before,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said in a news release issued in May.

“Jeep Cherokee will boast competitive pricing that strikes at the core of the largest vehicle segment and sits perfectly between Jeep Compass and Jeep Grand Cherokee to bolster our winning mainstream lineup.”
The last generation Cherokee went out of production in 2023 and the brand has been without a model in the segment since then. It was on sale for a decade and peaked at 239,437 U.S. deliveries in 2018.
