The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X may be the only $207,395 that can be considered a bargain.

That’s the official starting price for the 1,250 hp all-wheel-drive hybrid that’s the fastest American car to ever lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife track.

It also has a top speed of 233 mph and can accelerate to 60 mph in less than two seconds. No other two-door sports car with an internal combustion engine can come close to matching its overall performance for anywhere near the price. The Ford Mustang GTD, its top rival from an American brand, has a base price of $327,960, but can be optioned to more than $400,000.

The price is almost exactly what American Cars And Racing predicted it would be back in January before it was unveiled, when many expected it to be called the Corvette Zora, and represents a roughly $30,000 premium over the non-hybrid 1,064 hp Corvette ZR1.

The $207,395 gets you an entry-level 1LZ coupe while the convertible is $10,000 more. The next available grade is the 3LZ, which comes with additional premium features starting at $218,395 for the coupe and $228,395 for the convertible.

Specific option prices haven’t been released, including for the ZTK Performance Package and ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package that are required to get the car in Nürburgring record trim, but they are $1,500 and $8,495, respectively, on the Corvette ZR1.

Chevrolet is also offering a Quail Silver Limited Edition version of the 3LZ Convertible with Blade Silver Matte paint for $241,395, excluding the delivery fee that is included in the other prices. The car will make its public debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, during Monterey Car Week on Aug. 15.

“Corvettes are the pride and joy of their owners – this has been true since we first began selling the nameplate more than 70 years ago. They honor its craftsmanship and design as much as its engineering excellence,” said Scott Bell, VP of Global Chevrolet. “The ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition presents a highly exclusive option for Corvette customers looking for a collectible item.”

Chevrolet hasn’t said when the order books officially open, but Corvette ZR1X production is scheduled to begin in late 2025 with the Quail Silver Limited Edition builds expected to follow next year.
