This Top Fuel driver hasn’t found the top speed!
Brittany Force broke her own all-time top speed record at the NHRA U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway park with a 343.51 MPH win over Ida Zetterstrom in the first elimination round.
Force set a track record during qualifying on Friday night at 33.9.79 mph then followed it up on Sunday with her 3.690 pass.
The event ended for her in the second elimination round when she had to let up early and pull the chutes, but the record pass was her 10th time over 340 mph this season, with her previous best 343.16 mph speed coming at the Sonoma Nationals in July.
Doug Kalitta is the only other driver on the top 10 speeds list with a 341.34 mph pass at this year’s Northwest Nationals.
