The 2026 IndyCar season will have 17 races again, but they won’t all be the same as this year.

St. Petersburg still opens the season on March 1, this time with the NASCAR Truck Series as a support race, but the Thermal Club IndyCar Grand Prix has been dropped in favor of a return to Phoenix Raceway on March 7 for a weekend shared with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Cup Series.

The Inaugural IndyCar Grand Prix of Arlington in Texas is next on March 15 and followed by a trip to Barber Motorsports Park on March 29.

The Grand Prix of Long Beach is three weeks later on April 19 and then it’s on to the Month of May in Indianapolis with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course Race on May 9 and the Indy 500 on May 24.
