Jeep Reveals 2026 Grand Wagoneer As It Kills ‘Wagoneer’ And Adds ‘REEV’

The Wagoneer is dead, long live the Grand Wagoneer.
Jeep’s ill-fated plan to create a Wagoneer sub-brand to rival Range Rover has officially come to an end with the reveal of the 2026 Grand Wagoneer. The automaker came to the conclusion that the Jeep name has enough brand equity to carry vehicles upmarket on its own.
The updated full-size SUV proudly wears Jeep badges, unlike when it first launched in 2022, and will no longer be offered as the Wagoneer, which previously denoted the lower-tier trims. The 2026 Grand Wagoneer still covers the full spectrum of mainstream and luxury models, but all are now sold under the Grand Wagoneer name.
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer gets a new front-end design with a slim illuminated seven-slot grille similar to the one on the electric Wagoneer S and T-shaped running lights in the lower front fascia. The restyled rear end includes a full-width light bar with the Jeep badge above it.

Prices start at $64,740 for an entry-level two-wheel-drive Grand Wagoneer trim and $67,740 for the long-wheelbase Grand Wagoneer L. Four-wheel-drive is $3,000 extra for both. The mid-level Limited Attitude and top-of-the line Summit Obsidian are only offered with four-wheel-drive and start at $73,735 and $95,985, respectively, with the long-wheelbase versions an additional $3,000. Several other trim levels and packages will be available, but full pricing has not yet been released.

A new Upland package that can be added to the Grand Wagoneer trim adds off-road capability with a Quadra-Lift air suspension system, computer-controlled shocks, unique 20-inch wheels, tow hooks, a locking safe and several other features.

All Grand Wagoneers will come with a 420 hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity in a standard wheelbase four-wheel-drive model equipped with the Heavy-duty Trailer Tow package.

A Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) version will be added to the lineup next year with a 92 kWh battery pack that delivers approximately 150 miles of range and 3.6-liter V6 that works as a generator for longer trips or when extra power is needed, as when towing. It’s rated for a maximum output of 647 hp and 620 lb-ft and the combined range for electric and gas operation is expected to be around 500 miles.
