The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 Is A Hemi V8-Powered Off-Roader

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is dead, long live the Wrangler Moab 392.
The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 is now on sale with the same 470 hp 6.4-liter Hemi V8 that was featured in the Wrangler Rubicon 392. Aside from the name, not a whole lot else has changed. Well, except for the price.
The Wrangler Moab 392 starts at $81,990 including the destination fee. That’s $20,000 less than the Wrangler Rubicon 392. For that, it comes with a full-time Selec-Trac 4×4 system with a low range transfer case, locking front and rear differentials and a disconnecting front sway bar.
A body colored hard top and the Wrangler’s Xtreme 35 package are included, the latter bringing a 1.5-inch suspension lift, a set of 35-inch BF Goodrich K02 all-terrain tires mounted to 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56:1 axle and a reinforced swing gate to handle the bigger full-size spare tire.

Skid plates, rock rails and a front trail camera are standard along with a trailer tow package good for 3,500 pounds of towing. The Wrangler Moab 392 also gets the Wrangler Rubicon 392’s hood, which is equipped with a cold air intake scoop that can channel water away from the engine when it is fording deep water and a bow wave gets kicked up onto it.

The Wrangler Moab 392 has power and heated front seats and leather upholstery and the Sky One-Touch power top is optional. You can also order an 8,000-pound Warn winch from the factory.
The Wrangler Moab 392 is the first of a dozen new models that Jeep will be releasing on the 12th of each month through a program its calling Operation Airdrop, which celebrates its 85th anniversary. The next one is due on December 12.
