2026 Jeep Recon Moab Revealed With 650 HP For $66,995

The all-electric Jeep Recon has been revealed in production form. The Wrangler-sized SUV is set to go on sale early next year at an initial price of $66,995. That’s for a Recon Moab off-road model.
The Recon is powered by a dual motor all-wheel-drive system rated at 650 hp and 620 lb-ft. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and the Moab has a 230-mile driving range, while additional trims will be added later on with up to 250 miles or range. Jeep estimates that charging its 100.5 kWh battery pack from 5-80% takes 28 minutes at a public DC fast charging station.
The Recon Moab has removable doors; rear quarter windows and tailgate glass that can come out; and an optional Sky One-Touch Power Top retractable fabric roof for maximum open air motoring.
Factory ground clearance is 9.1 inches and it gets a full range of driving modes for its traction management system that includes Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud, and Rock. The rear differential can be electronically locked for additional traction. The Recon Moab rides on 33-inch tires and has a 33.8-degree approach angle, a 33.1-degree departure angle and a 23.3-degree breakover angle.

The interior is trimmed in a mix of recycled materials and a synthetic leather Jeep calls Capri. There is a digital instrument cluster and 14.5-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system. An 11-speaker Alpine audio system is standard and the center console can be locked with a key for when it is parked with the doors off.

The Recon will be sold alongside the Wagoneer S, with which it shares its electric platform.

“With the Jeep Recon, we’re proving that electrification isn’t just compatible with off-road excellence, it can elevate it, delivering instant torque, precision control and a quieter, more connected driving experience that’s uniquely Jeep,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said.
