Jeep is releasing a new model or limited edition trim on the 12th of each month to celebrate its 85th anniversary in 2026.

The first released on 11/12 was the V8-powered Wrangler Moab 392 and now it has followed that desert-inspired model up with one dressed for winter.

The Whitecap is a limited edition trim that will be available on the 2026 Wrangler Sahara, Rubicon and Rubicon X. It features an all-white removable hardtop that Jeep says is a throwback to the hardtop roof offered on classic CJs.

The Whitecap package also includes a white grille surround and a white 1941 side stripe. It’s priced at $2,690 for the Sahara and comes with the optional hard top; $3,185 for the Rubicon with the optional hard top and body colored fenders; and $495 on the Rubicon X, which has the roof and fenders as standard equipment.

The contrasting paint color is not restricted and it can be paired with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or 3.6-liter V6. The orange Joose paint depicted in the photos isn’t currently available for order, but will be returning to the Wrangler later in the 2026 model year, following a limited run in 2025.

The Whitecap package can also be paired with the Wrangler’s Sky One-Touch power top, which gets white roof rails and window surrounds for the application.

“The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap is more than a special edition, it’s a statement,” Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said in a news release. “It honors Jeep brand heritage while introducing a striking two-tone look that turns heads on any trail. Just like every model in the Twelve 4 Twelve series, Whitecap is designed to stand out—a true tip of the hat to the brand’s legendary legacy. With more ways to personalize and customize than ever before, we’re giving Jeep owners the freedom to make their Wrangler truly their own.”
