The Man Behind The Ford F-150 Raptor Is Building A Million-Dollar Off-Road Hypercar

Jamal Hameedi has an impressive resume. The American performance vehicle engineer was on the team that designed the 2004 Ford GT, was the chief engineer for the F-150 Raptor and led the development of the 2017 Ford GT.
He spent the past few years at Jaguar Land Rover where his crowning achievement was the Land Rover Defender 110 Octa, a $160,000 super SUV that’s as amazing on road as it is in the dirt. Now he using all of this experience to blaze a new trail.
Hameedi has teamed up with former Ferrari, Aston Martin and Lotus engineer Maximillian Szwaj and entrepreneur Dr. Andreas Baenziger to launch Hameedi Venturo, a new automaker that is developing the first off-road hypercar.
The secretive venture is still very much under wraps, but Hameedi joined The GAS podcast for an exclusive interview where he pulled back the curtain to give us a peek at what to expect from the “car you can not stop driving.”
