Ford will soon have the perfect two-car solution for Vaughn Gittin Jr. superfans.

First, it’s launching the Mustang RTR, which is a collaboration with the Ford Racing driver’s RTR Vehicles. RTR being short for “Ready to Rock.”

It’s a Mustang EcoBoost set up for drifting with a special Track mode that allows it to get very sideways before it kicks in, an anti-lag system for the 315 hp turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, the front swaybar and rear subframe from a Dark Horse Mustang, additional performance upgrades and lots of grayscale and Hyper Green RTR styling touches.

Ford hasn’t yet said how much the Mustang RTR costs, but it will be on sale this summer.

Come next winter, Ford will be offering a new Bronco RTR that share’s the Mustang’s colors and also has a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder with anti-lag, but is built for a very different purpose. The four-door SUV is outfitted for off-roading and will be available in two flavors.

The standard dress includes the RTR look, a set of 33-inch rugged terrain tires and a high-clearance suspension, but it can be upgraded with a unique Sasquatch package.

This equips it with 35-inch tires and the Bronco’s HOSS 3.0 (High-performance Off-road Stability Suspension) suspension system with Fox remote-reservoir shocks that are similar to the ones used on the first-generation 2010 Ford F-150 Raptor, which provide the sort of compression and rebound characteristics a truck needs for blasting through the desert at 100 mph.
