It was a short deal for the shortest month.

Tesla raised the price of the entry-level Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck on Sunday, right on schedule.

The new model was introduced on February 19 priced at $62,235 ($59,990 before fees) with a warning from Elon Musk that it would only be available at that price for 10 days.

The price is now $72,235 and you have to get to the back of the line. Early orders had estimated delivery dates in June, while Tesla’s website now list the first availability in 2027.

The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive has a range of 325 miles per charge, a 7,500-pound towing capacity and can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, according to Tesla.

It has textile upholstery, a lockable bed cover and adaptive shock absorbers, but customers need to move up to the $82,235 Premium All-Wheel Drive to get features like faux leather upholstery, a rear touchscreen infotainment system, an air suspension and a waterproof storage bin under the bed floor.

While the price is higher and the $7,500 federal tax credit is no longer available to help defray costs, Tesla’s website notes that the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck is eligible for the Section 179 tax deduction for commercial use vehicles.

Cybertruck sales crashed from 38,965 in 2024 to 20,237 in 2025, but Tesla’s Austin, Texas, assembly plant has the capacity to build more than 125,000 annually and it is clearly looking to boost demand.
