The self-driving prototypes won’t be hitting the road for a few years and Tesla hasn’t revealed all of their secrets, but several features definitely stand out.
OPEN WIDE
The Robotaxi has butterfly doors that open by themselves and a hatchback covering a large trunk for luggage on those airport runs.
LOOK MA, NO HANDS
The Robotaxi has just two seats and a screen for entertainment and controls. There isn’t a steering wheel or any pedals so you can’t drive it even if you wanted to.
UNPLUGGED
The Robotaxi’s sleek body doesn’t have a charging port because it uses inductive charging that allows it to just park over a mat to get juiced up.
