The Nilu Is The 1,000 HP Anti-Electric Supercar
It’s an antidote for electrification.
A new startup automaker called Nilu27 has revealed its first model. The Nilu was created by company founder Sasha Selipanov, who has previously worked as a designer for Bugatti, Lamborghini and Koenigsegg.
It was built to deliver an analog experience in a digital world and will first be manufactured in California by prototype and small volume vehicle specialist Aria Group, before production ramps up in a yet to be revealed location.
An initial run of 15 track versions will be sold at a yet to be announced price, and the car will make its debut at the upcoming Monterey Car Week, but here’s what we know so far:
CLASSIC STYLING
Selipanov says the car draws inspiration from the classic Le Mans racers of the 1960s from the days of Ford v Ferrari.

WHO CARES HOW FAST?
Nilu27 hasn’t released any performance figures and says that’s not the point. Sure, it’ll be fast, but it’s not meant to be the fastest car, it’s meant to be the best car.
