These Are The Last 7 US-Built Vehicles With Manual Transmissions
The Jeep Gladiator is about to bring an era to an end.
The Gladiator is the only pickup manufactured in the USA that’s available with a manual transmission, and the last one made by an American brand, but Jeep is discontinuing the option for 2025.
With the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro also having gone out of production last year, the number of US-built stick shift vehicles has dwindled into the single digits.
Here’s a look at what’s left from the top brands:
ACURA INTEGRA
The Ohio-built $53,795 Acura Integra Type S doesn’t just come with a six-speed manual transmission for its 320 hp drivetrain, but you can’t even order it with an automatic. The regular 200 hp Integra has a standard CVT, but a stick-shift is an option.
CADILLAC CT4-V BLACKWING
The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is built on a version of the same platform that the Camaro used and will be carrying GM’s subcompact performance car flag into the near future. The $62,890 four-door sedan is powered by a 427 hp turbocharged V6 that sends its power to the rear wheels through either a standard six-speed manual or optional 10-speed automatic transmission.

CADILLAC CT5-V BLACKWING
The $96,990 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is larger and more powerful than the CT4-V Blackwing. Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 is rated at 668 hp, making it the most powerful Cadillac sedan ever. As with its smaller sister car, it comes standard with a 6-speed manual, but can be ordered with a 10-speed automatic.

FORD BRONCO
The Ford Bronco is the only truck that features a seven-speed manual transmission with an extra-low crawler gear, but you have to order the entry-level 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine option to get it. A 10-speed automatic is optional and the only transmission available with other powertrain configurations.
FORD MUSTANG
When Ford teased the reveal of the seventh generation Mustang it did so with the image that included an H-pattern gearshift knob to drive the point home that it was very much a driver’s car. The six-speed stick is offered with all of the current powertrains including the 2.3-liter turbocharged four cylinder and the 5.0-liter V8s in the GT and Dark Horse trims. One model that won’t be getting it is the $325,000 Mustang GTD, which features an 815 hp supercharged V8 and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

HENNESSEY VENOM F5-M
The Hennessey Venom F5-M isn’t your typical run-of-the-mill production vehicle, but it’s also not your typical supercar. At least not these days. The $2.65 million two-seater swaps the regular Venom F5’s seven-speed automated gearbox for a six-speed gated shifter, while its 1,817 hp turbocharged V8 makes it the most powerful car with a manual transmission ever sold.
JEEP WRANGLER
Jeep may be getting rid of the Gladiator’s manual, but it will still offer one in the Wrangler SUV for 2025. It’s only being paired with the V6 engine this time around, and vice versa, as the six-cylinder will no longer be available with an automatic.
