The Hellcat’s fire isn’t out yet.
Dodge has confirmed that the Durango SRT Hellcat SUV will continue to be offered in 2024, even as the brand’s V8-powered Challenger and Charger models are discontinued.
The model is powered by a 710 hp version of the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 that’s featured in several Dodge models.
The Durango SRT Hellcat was originally introduced in 2021 as a limited edition single-year model before tightening emissions rules came into effect the following year that it couldn’t meet, but updates to the powertrain were made that allowed Dodge to resurrect it in 2023.
The Durango will be the Hellcat’s last stand as the 702 hp Ram 1500 TRX pickup that’s also powered by it is going out of production at the end of this year.

Pricing for the 2024 Durango SRT Hellcat hasn’t been announced, but the Plus and Premium trims that will be offered currently start at $101,200 and $106,405.
The Durango will also be available with a 360 hp 5.7-liter or 475 hp 6.4-liter V8, along with the base 295 hp 3.6-liter V6.

Dodge will be replacing the V8-powered Challenger and Charger with a range of electric models based on the Charger Daytona SRT concept unveiled last year, but has not yet said what the future holds for possible gasoline-fueled sports cars.
