Shelby American has reveled an updated version of its most monstrous muscle truck.

The 2023 Ford Shelby F-250 Super Baja is a high-performance version of the F-Series Super Duty that takes it beyond anything Ford offers form the factory.

It’s based on a Lariat Ultimate 4×4 Ford F-250 powered by the 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel engine that’s been equipped with a Fox Performance suspension system.

It includes custom front radius arms and a BDS lift kit, front Fox 2.5 coilovers with backup shocks and rear Fox Factory Race 2.5 piggyback dampers. There’s also a Fox 2.0 dual steering stabilizer.

Ford offers the F-250 in a Tremor model that has improved off-road capability, but has not yet extended its top performance Raptor trim to the Super Duty trucks.

Chevrolet recently launched the Silverado 2500HD ZR2, which uses the same racing-derived Multimatic DSSV dampers as the Colorado ZR2 and Silverado 1500 ZR2.
