Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats Make A ‘Last Stand’ with 1,000 hp From Hennessey

(Hennessey Performance)

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is set to be the most powerful V8 muscle car ever

Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 can crank out 1,025 horsepower, but only if you get it drunk.

The maximum output requires the use of E85 fuel, which has a higher octane than premium gasoline and an alcohol proof of 170, hence the name.

It still makes a healthy 900 hp when its running on gas, which still qualifies it as the most-powerful factory V8 muscle car ever, but you can get more if you really want it.
