The Tesla Cybertruck Website Has Gone Dark Ahead Of Launch
It’s a Cyber-blackout.
Tesla has removed all of the images and details from the Cybertruck page on its website and has replaced them with a simple graphic of the truck and a countdown timer to the delivery event scheduled for November 30 at 3 p.m. ET.
The Cybertruck landing page has been filled with the same images and much of the now out-of date information that was initially posted when it was unveiled as a concept in November of 2019.
Pricing information had already been taken down in 2021, but several specifications regarding its performance remained.

Tesla hasn’t officially announced much about the truck ahead of the official launch at it’s Austin, Tex. factory, save for two key details that have significantly changed.
Signs displayed alongside production models at Tesla showrooms across the country reveal that it will have a tow rating of 11,000 pounds and a payload capacity of 2,500 pounds for an unspecified model.
Those are both down from the 14,000 pounds and 3,500 pounds figures that had previously been on the website.
The store signs also confirm that the Cybertruck will have an adaptive air suspension system and shatterproof glass.

Elon Musk has also said that the stainless steel body is bulletproof against shots from a Thompson submachine gun and both 9mm and .45 Magnum rounds.
