Shock? The Electric Ford Mustang Mach-E Outsold The Mustang In November … But It Was Crazy-Close
Ford’s electric Mustang Mach-E had one of its best months ever in November, with 4,294 delivered to customers.
That was enough to outsell the car from which it borrows its name and personality.
Ford’s internal combustion engine Mustang models racked up 4,293 during the month, one less than the Mach-E.

It’s not the first time the Mach-E has outsold the Mustang, which has had its production limited this year by a switchover to the redesigned 2024 model.
During the second quarter, the Mexican-made Mach-E’s deliveries were 14,842 and the Michigan-made Mustang’s 9,844.
The electric Ford F-150 Lightning pickup also had a banner month in November with a record 4,393 deliveries.

Ford has delivered 20,365 F-150 Lightnings so far in 2023 and expects to have the capability to build 150,000 annually by the end of the year.
Ford’s overall sales were down .5% for the month, which saw several models significantly impacted by the UAW strike.
