The company is putting the finishing touches on an electric powertrain with a 200-mile range that is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2024. The electrification plan has attracted investment from Robert Downey Jr’s Footprint Coalition, which was one of its early investors.
Kindred is also taking orders for electric versions of the original VW Bus and the Chevrolet 3100 pickup it plans to have in production next year.
