They make quite a pair.

A 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 with matching VINs will be crossing the block together at the Mecum Auctions Kissimmee, Fla., event on Friday, Jan. 12.

The 808 hp Demon held the title of Most Powerful Muscle Car until the arrival of the 900 hp Demon 170, which can crank out 1,025 hp when running on E85 fuel.

A Demon 170 was the last Challenger built before production of the model ended on December 22.

The two cars have VINs that end in 950 and are both TorRed with black interiors. They are also very low mileage examples. The Demon has 725 miles on the odometer and the Demon 170 just 8.

Both are offered with all of their original documentation and the Demon comes with the Demon Crate full of drag racing accessories.

THE DODGE CHALLENGER SRT DEMON 170’S SUPERCHARGED 1,025 HP V8 IS AVAILABLE ‘A LA CRATE’ FOR $27,695

Demon 170 purchases included a two day SRT Drag Racing Class at the Radford Racing School in Chandler, Ariz., and the one for this car is still valid for the auction winner.

Mecum isn’t offering an estimated value for the cars, but a 2018 Demon was recently auctioned for $159,000 and a Demon 170 for $247,500.

The Demon 170 will likely go down in history as the most-powerful internal combustion engine muscle car in history, unless Ford releases a Mustang that beats it.
