The concept is equipped with gullwing doors that show off its roomy interior and a digital display for a grille.

The batteries will be built at a new factory in Ohio that is a joint venture with LG Energy Solutions, but Honda didn’t confirm where the vehicle will be assembled.

The drivetrain will use an e-Axle developed with Hitachi Astemo that combines a silicon carbide inverter; a square-wire, low-loss and high-efficiency motor; and a “quiet” gearbox in a compact package.
