The Beast is a frightening thing.
The modified Chevrolet Corvette is the latest creation from American boutique custom car builder Rezvani.
The Beast is based on the mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, but features a redesigned, unrecognizable carbon fiber body and “Dragon Wing” dihedral doors, AKA: Billionaire doors.
They seem fitting, because the car can fly Its 6.2-liter V8 has been turbocharged up to 1,000 hp and 878 lb-ft of torque.
DELOREAN RETURNING AS CORVETTE-BASED SPORTS CAR
According to Rezvani, it can acellerate to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and cover a quarter mile in 9.6 seconds.
The interior is updated with a new dash design and the steering wheel top has been chopped off for effect.
The car is priced at a whopping $485,000, but there are a couple of options.
While this is the second Beast Rezvani has built, following the original Ariel Atom-based car, the company is best-known for its dystopian SUVs.
The Vengeance and Tank can both be equipped with armor and security gadgets, and most of them have trickled down to the beast.
A $45,000 “007” package adds things like a electrified door handles, strobe lights and siren, external pepper spray dispensers, a smoke screen and EMP protection for its electronic systems. The car can also be equipped with bulletproof bodywork and glass for an additional $55,000.
THE USA NEEDS MORE AMERICAN SUPERCARS
Don’t expect to see too many of the $585,000 creations. Not just because of the price, but because Rezvani will only build 20 of them.
