The Lucid Air Pure electric sedan doesn’t qualify for the $7,500 federal clean vehicle tax credit, but Lucid will give it to you anyway.

The credit only applies to cars with list prices that are less than $55,000, while SUVs and trucks get an $80,000 limit.

Lucid this week announced that it was dropping the price of the rear-wheel-drive Air Pure to $71,400, including the delivery fee.

Stepping up to the all-wheel-drive Air Pure is also $500 cheaper now and costs $5,000.
