The Honda Pilot has been promoted.
Honda has dropped the current entry-level Honda Pilot LX trim for 2025 and added a new Black Edition at the top of the lineup.
The new entry-level model is the front-wheel-drive Sport, which has a starting price of $43,395, up from $40,995, with all-wheel-drive adding $2,100. The front-wheel-drive LX was available for $38,485.
The fourth generation Pilot SUV launched in 2023 and mostly carries over into 2025 across the range, including its standard 285 hp V6 and 10-speed automatic transmission.

The fully loaded Black Edition sits above the Elite and features standard all-wheel-drive, blacked out trim, 20-inch gloss black wheels, red stitching, dark red leather seats with black accents and red ambient lighting.
The off-road TrailSport trim returns at $50,495 and comes with an all-terrain wheel and tire package, an extra inch of ground clearance for 8.3 inches, steel skid plates, recovery hooks and all-weather floor mats.

All Pilots come with the Honda Sensing package of electronic driver aids, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and a lane-centering feature.
Shipments of the Alabama-built 2025 Pilot are already underway.
