The Chevrolet Blazer EV Is Back On Sale With Lower Prices And A $7,500 Tax Credit
GM announced on Friday that sales of the Chevrolet Blazer EV have restarted, weeks after they were suspended in December due to a software issue.
“We have made significant software updates that will improve features and functionality to deliver on the high expectations of our customers,” GM said in a press release.
“We’re confident these improvements will address concerns heard from some early owners and as promised, we’re carrying learnings over to other products in GM’s lineup.”
Prices for the Blazer EV have also been reduced significantly.
FULL 2024 CHEVROLET EQUINOX PRICING REVEALED
The entry-level LT drops from $56,715 to $50,195 and will cost $42,695 for buyers who qualify for the $7,500 federal electric vehicle tax credit.
The RS AWD goes from $60,215 to $54,595 and the RS RWD from $61,70 to $56,170.

The all-wheel-drive models have a range of 279 miles per charge, while the rear-wheel-drive version is rated at 320 miles.
Honda also announced today that the upcoming Prologue and Acura ZDX, which are built for it by GM on the same platform the Blazer uses, will also qualify for the full $7,500 credit.
