A lot of automakers build vehicles in the United States, but there are only three full-line brands that manufacture all of the vehicles they sell in the USA in the USA.
Jeep and Ford may be considered the most patriotic auto brands, but neither of them is 100% American, with both featuring import models in their U.S. lineups.
The same is true for Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Lincoln, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram all of the foreign brands, except for one.
(This list doesn’t include automakers with a small number of models like Lucid and Rivian.)
Acura was born in Japan, but has become a naturalized citizen over the decades. Its current lineup of two sedans and two internal combustion engine SUVs are all built in Ohio, while the ZDX electric SUV is manufactured for it at a General Motors factory in Tennessee.
Even the NSX supercar that went out of production in 2022 was made in USA.
The Acura ZDX shares its platform with the Cadillac Lyriq that is built alongside of it, and the rest of the brand’s models are domestic. That includes the CT4 and CT5 sedans, XT4 and XT5 SUVs and the flagship Escalade and its electric counterpart that goes on sale soon, the Escalade IQ.

Tesla has factories in China and Germany now, but none of them emigrate to the U.S. The Model 3, Y, S, X and Cybertruck vehicles sold in the U.S. are all built at either its original Fremont, Calif., factory or its new headquarters in Austin, Texas. Plans to open a factory in Mexico have been delayed and the company says a new low-cost model will be assembled in Texas initially.
