Rivian Stock Goes To The Moon After 2024 Sales Report
That’s a good way to kick off the year.
Rivian stock skyrocketed 24.5% on Friday after the company released a strong 2024 sales report.
Rivian delivered 51,579 vehicles during the year, which was just short of the high end of its previous guidance of 50,000 to 52,000 vehicles.
The figure is the total for all R1T pickup, R1S SUV and its EDV and the commercial vans primarily used by Amazon.

The closing stock price was nearly double where it was last April.
Rivian launched updated versions of the R1T and R1S this year, but delayed the start of construction of a new factory in Georgia as it tightened its financial belt.
The automaker also unveiled its next new models, R2 SUV and subcompact R3 SUV, which are priced below the R1s, but won’t be on sale before 2026.
