Tesla officially launched in Saudi Arabia on April 10 and brought a surprise with it.

The Tesla website for the country advertises the Cybertruck as one of the models that will be available, starting in late 2025.

Along with the Cyberbeast and All-Wheel Drive trims that are currently on sale in the U.S. it adds a Long Range model, which is the long-awaited rear-wheel-drive trim.

Tesla was taking reservations for rear-wheel-drive Cybertrucks when it went on sale in the U.S. in November, 2023, but later removed it from the website.

It first reappeared earlier this year on the list of models that qualify for the U.S. federal tax credit on electric vehicle purchases, but hasn’t been added to the lineup yet.

According to the Saudi Arabia website, Tesla advertises the Long Range with 350 miles of driving per charge and says that it can accelerate to 62 mph (100 kph) in 6.6 seconds. Its tow rating is listed at 7,500 pounds.

It rides on standard 18-inch wheels, which aren’t offered on either of the U.S. models, and has conventional springs and shocks instead of the air suspension that all U.S. trucks get. Its fixed ground clearance is about 9.5 inches.

Pricing has not yet been released. Tesla originally advertised the U.S. version at $60,990 before destination fees, but that was with a smaller battery pack good for just 250 miles of range.

Cybertruck sales apparently plummeted in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2025 and the lowest-priced model starts at $79,990.

The order books in Saudi Arabia are currently open for the Model 3 and Model Y with the first deliveries estimated for June.
