Tim Kuniskis Named Head Of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep And Ram And Immediately Announces Return Of SRT

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis, who retired for a short time last year before returning to Stellantis last December, has now been named head of all of the automaker’s American brands.
Kuniskis will continue as Ram CEO for now, but also oversee Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep, while also leading Stellantis’ North America marketing and retail strategy as the company continues to reshuffle its management under new CEO, Antonio Filosa.
“Connecting with our customers, delivering the products and experiences they want, is critical to reaching our full potential,” Filosa said in a news release. “Tim has proven time and time again that he is masterful at building brands that reach the heart and soul of the customer. We will leverage his energy, his strategic mindset and his competitive spirit to supercharge all our brand activities.”
Kuniskis came back to Ram with a fury, announcing the return of V8-powered light duty trucks and its entry in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2026.

Kuniskis also announced the return of the SRT performance division, which existed as a standalone brand from 2011 to 2014, but was disbanded completely in 2021. It will be responsible for the highest performance models across the Stellantis American brands and its racing efforts.
“We’re getting the band back together,” Kuniskis said. “SRT is another box we needed to check as we head into a product launch cadence enabling more performance than we’ve ever seen before. We’re working with our product development and technology organization to select the best engineers in powertrain and vehicle dynamics to build a team worthy of the SRT name.”
Kuniskis didn’t announce any new models, but had previously said that the Ram brand will be making about 25 product announcements through the end of 2026.
